 Are you expecting God to bless you when you are not blessing God?

Are you expecting reward when you haven't obeyed?

Are you asking for healing when you are or aren't doing the thing or things you need to do?

Are you expecting a financial miracle when you haven't given back to God what belongs to God?

Are you asking Him to forgive you while you are holding a grudge?

Are you grumpy towards God but expecting Him to smile on you?

Are you asking for freedom and deliverance while clutching in your fist the thing that has you bound and/or addicted?

God always rewards faithfulness! God always rewards effort! He always rewards a giving, gracious spirit.

God never rewards laziness, selfishness, self-destruction or unforgiveness.

When we come to God with opened heart and hands He can fill our lives with blessing. But a closed, hard or rebellious heart and tight fist is something God turns from in great sorrow.

You have to position yourself for blessing!

Halloween Part 1

I don't mind telling you that I have lost friends, and even church members, due to my stand on this topic. It is not my desire to offend anyone. However, I will not stand before people. I will stand before God. I would rather offend people than grieve the Holy Spirit and risk my own soul, as well as the souls of those under my influence, out of fear of speaking the truth. With halloween approaching, I feel compelled of the Holy Spirit to address the question I am asked, and sometimes challenged with, every year. Why do I firmly believe, and teach, that The Church and born-again believers should have NOTHING to do with halloween? And anything that even hints at the occult?
