Walls
********
This will preach! Thank you. I think I will!😄
The Lord just spoke this to me for a specific individual but it was too good not to share with someone else who may need it!
Joshua chapter 6 records the story of the Walls of Jericho. I know the story well and so do you. It is a story told to us from childhood. But today the Holy Spirit gave me, what to me is, a fresh revelation.
For the first six days Joshua instructed the people not to "shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you SHOUT!"
Are you facing a wall? Your wall could look like any number of things.
I am challenging you today or whenever you see this. DO NOT talk about your wall to ANYONE except the Lord for the next 6 days. Be silent. Do not even tell anyone you have a wall or that you are praying about that wall. Do not ask anyone to pray with you. Do not "make any noise with your mouth nor let a word proceed out of your mouth" regarding your wall. Do not even comment here regarding your wall.
Before you start your 6 days ask the Holy Spirit to show you a spiritual mentor; someone you have complete confidence in their ability to intercede for you. All you are to say to them is "I need you to blow the trumpet before me for 6 days starting on_______ (the day you start). If they ask questions tell them that is all you can say. If they are in tune with the Holy Spirit that will suffice. I am already blowing the trumpet for one; I'd be honored to blow it for you! But only if you commit to doing your part. My faith can't bring your wall down. Only your faith can!
On day 7 (seven being the number of God!) SHOUT! SHOUT like the wall has already come down! Joshua instructed the people to shout BEFORE the walls came down. The shout of praise, following obedience, is what brought the walls down!
"Every high thing must come down, every stronghold shall be broken...You've overcome!"
Let me hear from you. I want to share in your victory!
It's coming down!
